We’re excited to announce our participation at the upcoming SPE/IADC Middle East Drilling Technology Conference and Exhibition (MEDT), taking place 27–29 May 2025 at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, United Arab Emirates.
Hosted by ADNOC, MEDT is one of the most influential events in the regional Middle East drilling calendar. Jointly organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), the event brings together industry leaders to exchange insights and showcase the latest in Middle East drilling technology.
Now in its 14th edition, the conference is a recognised platform for knowledge-sharing around cutting-edge developments in drilling and completions. Under this year’s theme, “Accelerating Innovation Towards a New Era of Drilling Excellence,” the event will highlight advancements, emerging challenges, and field-proven solutions shaping the future of the sector.
Driving smarter decisions with iQx™
At the heart of our presence at MEDT 2025 is our iQx™ PLANS™ software, a powerful platform designed for probabilistic time and cost estimation in well planning. Built to increase forecasting accuracy and streamline the planning process, iQx™ empowers drilling teams to make confident, data-driven decisions throughout the well lifecycle.
In the Middle East, iQx™ has been successfully applied to:
- Model drilling scenarios under uncertainty, improving accuracy and risk mitigation
- Enhance planning efficiency by leveraging data from offset wells and historical projects
- Drive collaboration through transparent workflows and shared insights
- Optimise campaign modelling and identify opportunities for cost savings
By delivering clarity and predictability to complex operations, iQx™ supports operators in achieving operational efficiency and cost control.
What can you expect at MEDT 2025?
Join our daily demos to explore the efficiency and key features that PLANS™ offers:
- Campaign modelling with seamless integration of offset well data.
- Tagging capabilities to filter batch operations, analyze time and cost contributions, and gain insights into NPT.
- Statistical input distributions derived from historical well data.
- Project progress monitoring through an improved collaborative working method.
- Integration with other industry known systems through open API.

We look forward to engaging with the global drilling community at MEDT 2025 and showcasing how our technology continues to support innovation and excellence in Middle East drilling technology. Reach out to our team members Kim Nguyen and Øystein Andersen for requesting a demo.
