Aker BP implements next-generation well planning software in Operator's drilling and wells improvement and performance team

We’re excited to share customer success story featuring Aker BP and their implementation of our next-generation well planning software, PLANS™.

Aker BP has relied on iQx™ P1™ for well time and cost estimation for many years. Recently, they upgraded to iQx™ PLANS™, and we reached out to hear about their experience with implementation.

Drilling Engineer Trine has been leading the implementation of PLANS™ within Aker BP's Drilling & Wells organisation and we’re extremely thankful for smooth and fruitful collaboration with her.

PLANS™ has brought significant benefits, including the use of campaign modeling feature to model a pilot for a recent 55-well drilling campaign on Yggdrasil. By building their models on standardized, pre-defined variables, Aker BP ensures consistency across teams and assets. Additionally, these standardized variables allow for seamless integration with other systems through API, enabling end-to-end data flow.
