1. What does your day-to-day look like at AGR Software?

 

Busy. Always on the go. Meeting and talking to current or potential partners. Driving all over Houston for industry conferences, forums, and networking events. 

 

2. What made you pick a career in Energy?

 

Science. When I joined one of the three big service companies as an entry level GeoTech, I was thrilled to learn about the Oil & Gas industry, and more specifically, geology. Four years later, I joined a second big three service company, learned drilling services, became an SME in specific LWD tools, and my career was set. 

 

3. Tell us a bit about your career development at AGR.

 

It is a challenge for sure. For 23 years, I have been on the geoscience, wireline, and drilling services side of the industry. Becoming an expert in a focused/detailed software is a new challenge that I am tackling head on!

 

4. What does the future look like in energy and oceans?

 

We will continue to see more renewable energy. Although, fossil fuels will never go away, we are going to have a very diverse landscape within the energy industry.
